VINCENNES — Knox County Commissioners reported Tuesday that the county has submitted $74.9 million in potential infrastructure and building projects for possible Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Incentive 2.0 grant funding.

Once READI 2.0 grant funds are awarded by the state, the projects that can move forward with those funds will be determined.

A local steering committee worked with other regional representatives from the Indiana First to put together a strategic growth plan. Some $500 million is allocated statewide for possible READI 2.0 projects.

More than $5 million was funneled into Knox County in their first successful READI application.
