United Way of Huntington County held a Thank You luncheon and 60th year anniversary celebration to thank all those involved in the 2016 campaign.

Last year was a special year as United Way celebrated 60 years of “enhancing the quality of life for all,” according to Todd Latta, United Way board president.

“The work of our funded partners within the pillars of education, financial stability and health and wellness is vital and is truly making a difference in the lives of families and children within Huntington County,” Latta said.

In honor of United Way’s 60th year, there were six honorary campaign chairs: Ed Vessels, Kathy Branham, Ann McPherren, Nicole Johnson, Jeremy Nix and Kyle Hamilton, who gave out awards and recognition of staff and volunteers for the 2016 Campaign.

The 2016 Campaign goal was set at $606,060, with United Way exceeding this goal and the final result of the Campaign reaching $606,500.
