A news release says $5 million in funding has been secured to rebuild the Little Nashville Opry, which burned to the ground nearly eight years ago in an arson fire.

The news, disseminated by Golden Gate Capital based in Cheyenne, Wyoming, misstates the name of the old music venue. But the notice indicates the music hall on the western edge of Nashville will return, once again featuring the big names of country music.

“The Little Nashville Opera house is a symbol and a beacon for historic musical venues for past, current and future generations to come,” Andrew Bloom, a senior vice president at the financing firm, said in the news release.
