SOUTHERN INDIANA – A national network that is committed to developing and executing a regional vision has developed a Southern Indiana initiative.
Southern Indiana Alignment, comprised of Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Scott and Washington counties, is a regional branch of Alignment USA launched in the spring of 2017, according to the network’s newsletter.
Rita Shourds, who most recently served as chancellor of Ivy Tech Sellersburg before she was let go in April, was selected from more than 50 candidates to serve as executive director for Southern Indiana Alignment, according to an e-mail from Linda Speed, President and CEO of Community Foundation of Southern Indiana.
