A Steuben County manufacturer is investing almost $15 million and creating up to 100 new jobs by 2021, staff officials announced Thursday.

Vestil Manufacturing, which makes loading dock and material handling equipment for various industries, now employs more than 400 in Angola. The company, which is the city's second-largest privately owned employer, operates six facilities in Steuben, where it occupies more than 1 million square feet.

Jobs being created include management, welding, machinist, packaging, shipping and maintenance positions.

Salaries will range from $16 to $22 an hour, depending on the position and the worker's experience. Applicants can go to the company's website.

The fourth-generation company is owned by the Trine family, whose major donation prompted Tri-State University to change its name to Trine University in 2009.
