LAFAYETTE — Amtrak has slightly shortened the travel time between Lafayette and Chicago.
As of this month, trains departing Chicago’s Union Station at 5:45 p.m. Central will arrive in Lafayette at 9:42 p.m. Eastern, a savings of 15 minutes.
Trains departing Lafayette at 7:36 a.m. Eastern will arrive in Chicago at 10 a.m. Central, a savings of five minutes.
