IU statewide enrollment down slightly from a 2016

Indiana University fall 2017 statewide enrollment is down slightly from a year ago, according to data released Thursday by the university.

The university statewide has 94,698 students this fall, a decrease of 0.7 percent. Seventy percent of degree-seeking undergraduates are Indiana residents.

At the Bloomington campus, there are 43,710 students, virtually the same as last fall. A total of 33,429 are undergraduates. The incoming class includes 8,001 students, a new record.
