Michigan-based sister companies that make and assemble specialty equipment and complex modules for the auto industry plan to expand in Allen County, creating up to 313 new jobs by the end of 2018, the Indiana Economic Development Corp. said today.
Android Industries and Avancez are to invest $14.7 million to support General Motors' local operations, the economic development corporation said in a statement.
Android will expand its existing operation at 13008 Fogwell Parkway Road and Avancez will establish a new facility nearby at 12808 Stonebridge Road, the statement said.
The companies currently employ more than 70 in Allen County. They will begin hiring in September.
