RV shipments for May 2017 top 40,000 for the third straight month, stay on record pace

ELKHART — For the third consecutive month, recreational vehicle shipments eclipsed the 40,000 mark.

According to the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association, shipments for the month of May ended at 45,853, an increase of over 20 percent compared to May 2016.

Year-to-date shipments sit at 209,014 units, up 12 percent compared to this point in 2016.
