The Allen County commissioners on Friday denied a rezoning request that would have allowed 689 homes to be built on more than 200 acres near the Fort Wayne International Airport.
The Communities of Calusa would have brought hundreds of single-family houses along with connected homes or apartments on individual plots. The property is on Coverdale Road near the intersection with West Ferguson Road.
