The Indiana State Department of Health on Friday reported 925 new COVID-19 cases and 16 new deaths.

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the state has increased to 733,591, and the state has reported 13,049 deaths.

Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 decreased slightly from 880 on Wednesday to 831 on Thursday. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.

The health department reported the testing of 5,530 new individuals.

The state said more than 2.22 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. More than 2.47 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
