According to a press release issued by the Indiana Rail Road, INRD has recently completed a dynamic upgrade to its Odon Transload Facility which includes the installation of a new 10” concrete floor.

The new flooring is in addition to other recent improvements such as a food grade railcar dock and two truck docks.

Collectively, these enhancements support the safe handling and storage of weather-sensitive products such as particleboard, OSB, plywood and southern yellow pine lumber.

The Odon Transload Facility boasts 9,600 sq ft of warehouse capacity and offers transloading services Monday through Friday.

“The completion of the Odon Transload Facility allows us to offer a more comprehensive transloading solution to our customers,” said President and CEO of The Indiana Rail Road Dewayne Swindall. “We pride ourselves on providing a superior customer experience, and this upgrade is was critical to support that model.”
