MUNCIE — Delaware County has continued to climb in COVID-19 cases, with the Indiana State Department of Health reporting 77 new cases as of Monday.
ISDH totals now show Delaware County at 6,532 total confirmed cases with 118 deaths. The county has posted nearly 1,500 new cases since the Thanksgiving weekend, when it crossed the 5,000 case threshold.
In that same timeframe, an additional 14 deaths were recorded.
Delaware County could likely cross 7,000 cases and 120 deaths before the end of the week.
