LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Grand jurors still do not believe that Wabash Township Trustee Jennifer Teising resides in the township, as required by law, and indicted her Tuesday on an additional theft charge.

The July 20 indictment
accuses Teising of theft from township taxpayers by collecting her seven paychecks between April and June.

This makes the 21st felony charge of theft for which grand jurors have indicted Teising.

On May 12, the first 20 counts of theft were filed from the grand jury.

Teising's attorney filed for a change of venue and a special prosecutor. A hearing on those motions is scheduled for Aug. 3.

The Journal & Courier emailed Teising for comment. She has not responded.
