SHELBYVILLE — Jeff Air has moved operations from Indy South Greenwood Airport to Shelbyville Municipal Airport, expanding services in flight training and aircraft support.
The Shelbyville-based company specializes in flight classes for the next generation, offering courses for commercial, private licenses or instructor certifications.
While continuing to provide 14 CFR Part 141 flight training for career-track pilots, Jeff Air will also offer a time-building program for aspiring pilots in Cessna 150 and 152 aircraft beginning at the end of July. The company has also added on-site aircraft maintenance, ensuring students and instructors have certified technicians and well-maintained aircraft.
“By combining our proven flight training programs with on-site aircraft maintenance, we’re creating a seamless, full-service aviation experience,” said owner of Jeff Air Pilot Services David Jeffries. “It’s all about supporting our students every step of the way — from their first takeoff to their aviation career.”
Their main focus is making flight education more accessible and affordable for students, said owner and director of business development David Jeffries. The company has just announced its partnership with Stratus Financial, which will offer aviation-specific loan options
“Flight training is a significant investment, and we want to remove as many barriers as possible,” Jeffries added. “By partnering with Stratus Financial, we’re making it more accessible for students to pursue their passion for aviation without unnecessary financial stress.”
Jeff Air has an established partnership with Indiana Wesleyan University aviation students. Still, the company seeks to collaborate with veterans interested in an aviation career as part of both the Montgomery and Post-9/11 GI Bill programs.
