A global manufacturer of electronic and mechanical products is expected to save about $2.9 million on taxes over the next 10 years on its planned facility in Allen County.
Seojin Global Inc. officials Wednesday asked Allen County Council for three phase-ins: a 10-year agreement for real property taxes; seven years for personal property taxes; and a one-year cut for special tooling personal property taxes. Seojin will save about half of the nearly $6 million in taxes it would pay without the agreement.
