Fort Wayne officials release heat and air quality data

Fort Wayne officials want to start a community conversation about heat and air quality data collected over the past year to address areas that become dangerously hot during extreme heat.

Heat Watch Fort Wayne, released Wednesday, shows the city’s hot spots are in more developed areas with more concrete and less green space, including downtown. The study and maps are online at engage.cityoffortwayne.org/heat-study.
