Muralist Zach Medler uses a lift to get a closer look at the horizon of his latest work — a mural depicting the Limberlost Swamp, painted on the west side of Geneva Town Hall. Medler, son of Portland’s Mike and Sue Medler, was commissioned to paint the mural in the fall as part of a mural fest that saw 11 new murals painted in 11 northeast Indiana counties. Zach Medler, who now lives in Lafayette, recently painted this mural in the city. It is adorned with the words “RETURN” over the trees, a few of which are depicted changing colors as the scene is set at the beginning of autumn. (Photo provided)
