Decatur-based Fleetwood launches new Class A model

Decatur-based Fleetwood RV has launched a new Class A gas model, the 2010 Bounder Classic.

The company said in a written statement the new model is "value-priced." The manufacturer's suggested retail price starts under $100,000. It is available in 30-foot dual-slide and 34-foot dual-slide, mid-ship floor plans, as well as a 35-foot, dual-slide mid-ship TV floor plan with bunk beds.

The Bounder Classic has an expandable queen bed, recessed stainless steel galley, 8-cubic-foot refrigerator and patio awning, according to the statement.

Fleetwood RV recently restarted production at its Decatur plant following its purchase by the private-equity firm American Industrial Partners.
