Henry County bans fake pot, called "spice"

NEW CASTLE -- Henry County this week became the first county in East Central Indiana to ban the sale and public use of "spice," a substance commonly used as an alternative to marijuana.

Henry County is the third county in Indiana to ban the substance in the past two weeks. Boone County officials banned spice Aug. 16 and Morgan County banned it on Aug. 17.
