Sometimes it's good - and in this case probably profitable - to be the exception.
Honda Motor Co., whose lineup is tilted toward smaller and more fuel-efficient cars, actually sold more vehicles last month than it did in June 2007. That made the company the anomaly among automakers, which Tuesday generally reported dismal sales last month.
At Fort Wayne's Honda auto dealership, the brand is so popular that most cars aren't even in stock.
