Democratic field for Indiana governor could see Gregg, Ritz

INDIANAPOLIS -- Democrat Superintendent of Public Instruction Glenda Ritz dropped a bombshell Thursday, saying she is considering a run for governor in 2016.

Previously Ritz had said she was not interested and would focus on a re-election bid.

"After this session there's absolutely nothing off the table," she said.

Just hours after her surprising announcement, Democrat John Gregg officially revealed he will seek a rematch against Gov. Mike Pence in 2016.
