Lafayette workers not included in Caterpillar early retirement offer

Caterpillar Inc. announced today that it is offering a voluntary early retirement incentive package to approximately 2,000 production employees at its facilities in Aurora, Decatur, Joliet, Pontiac and Peoria, Ill.; Denver, Memphis, Tenn., and York, Pa.
