There will be two less sheriff's deputies and one less ambulance patrolling the streets in Carroll County because of forced budget cuts.
Carroll County Council members continued to drastically cut positions by cutting money from their budget Monday, eliminating an ambulance, insurance for county employees' families and six emergency medical service personnel.
Carroll County was ordered to cut $1.8 million out of its $6.8 million 2008 budget, which is about a quarter of its total budget, by the Indiana State Board of Accounts.
