MUNCIE -- Indiana is at a competitive disadvantage compared to other regions of the country in attracting jobs and residents because it has not yet made a commitment to a strong transit system, an expert has warned state officials.
Marilee Utter, president of Denver-based Citiventure Associates, was one of several experts who last year addressed 23 state legislators on the Joint Study Committee on Mass Transit and Transportation Alternatives.
