Foreclosures up in Delaware County, nationally

MUNCIE - After months of declining numbers, local foreclosures are on the rise again, up to 167 Delaware County properties in some stage of foreclosure this week.

The number had bottomed out at 105 in January after peaking at 446 in June 2007. Nationally, foreclosures increased 112 percent in the first three months of the year, according to new figures released Tuesday.
