Indiana House panel OKs bars' pull-tabs

INDIANAPOLIS - Hoosiers might soon be able to belly up to the bar and legally play paper pull-tabs and other low-stakes gambling games after the House Public Policy Committee voted 9-2 Wednesday to approve House Bill 1153.

Pull-tabs earn House go-ahead
State bars make plea for gaming
Bar owners want chance to offer gambling
Pull-tab bill clears panel, goes to Senate
