DELPHI -- Instituting fees for storm water utilities or trash pickup here could replace tens of thousands of dollars of revenue lost from property taxes.
Delphi will lose nearly $470,400 -- almost 30 percent of its property tax revenue -- from its 2010 operating budget due to the state's property tax restructuring. For 2009, the city must trim $240,000 from its budget.
