WEST LAFAYETTE — Funding toward a city relocation project that offers a stipend to those who move to West Lafayette was approved at Tuesday morning's West Lafayette Board of Public Works and Safety meeting.

"The project itself is (incentive) for people to relocate to West Lafayette," Erin Easter, West Lafayette director of development said. "So there is a small stipend that's involved. It's greater if you're relocating to the Discovery Park district where (the Purdue Research Foundation) and Tmap have coordinated with IEDC on funding...

"The program requirements are high-earners who can work remotely and are willing to relocate to West Lafayette."

The approved funds between the City of West Lafayette and Purdue Research Foundation are not-to-exceed $50,000. Read more about the project at www.prf.org/researchpark/amenities/dual-careers/index.php.
