Study looks to keep hotel in downtown Muncie

MUNCIE -- A new study might help local officials determine how to keep a hotel in downtown Muncie and how a hotel could work with the Horizon Convention Center.

The new study, to be conducted by the Center for Business and Economic Research at Ball State University, comes more than two years after the Roberts Hotel -- Muncie's last remaining downtown hotel -- closed.
