Wabash National idles 150

As it prepares to release its 2007 financial report, Wabash National Corp. has given temporary layoff notices to 150 full-time production associates.

The Lafayette truck-trailer manufacturer blames a slowing in the industry -- which includes a drop-off in orders during the next six weeks -- for the furloughs which start this week.
