INDIANAPOLIS — A company that submitted the winning bid to construct the Indiana portion of the Ohio River Bridges Project says it expects to have the work done by October 2016, far ahead of a completion deadline.

WVB East End Partners also says it can do the work for $763 million, which is 23 percent lower than predicted costs.

WVB was chosen as the winning bidder to construct the east-end bridge connecting Utica to Eastern Louisville in Indianapolis today (Friday).
