Assessors might fight to keep jobs

MUNCIE -- Gov. Mitch Daniels will have a fight on his hands in trying to eliminate township property assessors, according to a Ball State University political science professor.

"Nobody has a stronger township system than Indiana," BSU's Ray Scheele said.
