INDIANAPOLIS - It will be the shortest and most focused State of the State address that Gov. Mitch Daniels has given since taking office in 2005.

And the subject is a no-brainer - property taxes.

When he takes the podium Tuesday night, the governor hopes to convince legislators and Hoosiers that his proposal to reduce homeowner property taxes by one-third is the best way to go.
