Indiana Senate cool to House tax bill tinkering

INDIANAPOLIS - The GOP Senate committee chairman in charge of the property tax overhaul proposal will likely jettison several changes made to the bill by House Democrats.

Sen. Luke Kenley, R-Noblesville, identified some alterations Tuesday after hearing five hours of public testimony on House Bill 1001.
