Connersville could buy former Visteon plant to lure as many as 11,350 jobs

CONNERSVILLE, Ind. -- Fayette County officials say they're "pulling out all the stops" in their attempt to become the Police Car Capital of the World.

On Monday, the Connersville City Council agreed to buy the closed Visteon plant on Indiana 1, if Visteon will sell it to the city so the property can be included in the incentive package to be presented to Carbon Motors Corp. on April 6.
