6 St. Joseph County Police Department officers may be cut in 2009

SOUTH BEND - Thomas J. Nowicki is including his own job as a position that can be cut from the 2009 budget of the County Police Department.

He is the finance manager for the police department, and he presented cuts Wednesday night totaling $965,002 from the police and jail budgets.
