180 workers losing jobs in Dowagiac, Mich., when National Copper shuts plant

DOWAGIAC - John Katlun said he got the news Wednesday.

"By next Tuesday, there will be no more employees here," Katlun, a union official with UAW Local 1218, said Thursday morning.

The "here" he's referring to is National Copper Products Inc., 415 E. Prairie Ronde St. in Dowagiac.
