The average price of gasoline in Indiana on Tuesday, according to AAA, was $1.89 per gallon -- a far cry from the June prices that first topped the $4 per gallon mark.

Recent temperatures, dipping below freezing overnight, are also a far cry from the summer temperatures that lingered into early November. And snowflakes were spotted in Greater Lafayette over the weekend.

But cheaper gas and colder weather aren't cutting down the ridership at CityBus of Greater Lafayette, General Manager Martin Sennett said.
