Economic sign: Fort Wayne Rescue Mission sets meal record

In three hours Thursday, the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission Ministries broke its own record.

But it's not necessarily a record to be happy about. Between noon and 3 p.m., the mission's volunteers served nearly 2,700 free Thanksgiving dinners. That's almost 1,000 more than the previous record set in 2007.
