Fayette County's unemployment for September 2008 drops, but still highest in state

CONNERSVILLE, Ind. -- Fayette County still leads the state in unemployment, but the hard-hit industrial town saw unemployment drop last month to 9.9 percent, down from 11.2 percent in August.
