Fort Wayne wants to shrink its energy consumption by 10 percent and create alternative heat for its sewer plant to reduce the city government’s carbon footprint.
The Summit City is one of 35 Midwestern communities to join the Environmental Protection Agency’s Community Climate Change Initiative, the federal government announced this week.
