Fort Wayne mayor says gambling on the table

Mayor Tom Henry is not ready to endorse any specific plan to bring a casino to Fort Wayne or expand existing gambling options, but he is willing to listen to proposals and study the idea.

The poor economy and a less-than-rosy budget outlook prompted the mayor to begin researching whether a casino or other gambling enterprise would be good for the city, he said during a hastily called event Friday afternoon.
