MUNCIE -- In an economy hit hard by job loss and recession, officials, economists and workers are increasingly ready to gamble that casinos will become a solid part of Indiana's economy.

East Central Indiana residents are already fixtures at Hoosier Parking Racing and Casino in Anderson and Indiana Live Casino in Shelbyville for play. Now they're turning to the casinos for work, finding employment through job fairs.
