Indiana sales tax up, but cash flow down

The sales tax went up and revenue from it went down, but so far the change has had little effect on Indiana coffers, state officials said.

But some state legislators say the declining revenues could only get worse, and that the state needs to look hard at a funding system that has become increasingly reliant on sales taxes.
