Only about 70 left at Muncie's BorgWarner as it heads to April 24 shutdown

MUNCIE -- The end has come sooner rather than later for much of BorgWarner Automotive's Muncie workforce, as about 158 workers received layoff notices and will lose their jobs today.

That leaves only 70-plus people at the plant in the final days leading up to the April 24 shutdown, sources said Wednesday.
