SOUTH BEND - As a result of budget cuts prompted by Indiana's property tax reform, the St. Joseph County Public Library plans to ask employees to reduce their work hours.

Administrators will ask for volunteers among the library's 110 full-time employees to temporarily reduce their hours to 32 or 24 hours per week, assistant library director Debra Futa said.
