VINCENNES — The Pantheon is the recipient of a $40,000 community grant from the Community Collaboration Fund, to support the “Pantheon Future Founders: Igniting Innovation in Young Minds” program to nurture young entrepreneurs.

The funds, distributed by Indiana Economic Development Corporation, support the program that offers local high school students specialized training, community mentorship, ecosystem connections and experiential learning in partnership with local businesses, according to a news release announcing the award. The Pantheon Future Founders will launch at the end of this year.

“The Pantheon has been focused on fostering innovation and supporting entrepreneurs since its founding, said The Pantheon CEO Nichole Like. “Alongside our partners, Vincennes University and Elmer Buchta Technology Center, the CCF grant will help us to continue supporting this mission.”

IEDC introduced the grant program in 2023 to focus on accelerating entrepreneurial resources available to Indiana high school students. More than 80 applicants competed for the 2024 grant cycle, with The Pantheon chosen along with 31 other recipients.

“Indiana already ranks number two in the nation for starting a business, and these unique and collaborative projects are set to propel our entrepreneurial ecosystem to even greater heights,” said Indiana Secretary of Commerce David Rosenberg.
