Some investors who are building a Wells County ethanol plant are considering constructing a similar plant in DeKalb County.

Bluffton-based Sunrise Bio-Energy LLC could invest more than $200 million to develop a 100 million-gallon ethanol plant, said Edgar Seward, vice president of the company's board. Seward is general manager of Indiana Bio-Energy LLC, which is building a $177 million ethanol plant southwest of Bluffton. Seward also would be general manager of the Sunrise plant if it is built.
