FRANKTON - The distinct, but not overbearing, odor of cows and all that comes with them fills the air as the Willemsen Dairy comes into sight.
Built in 2002, the dairy is perched on a quiet stretch of road in southern Madison County, near a Boy Scout camp and a scattering of homes. Ten minutes away on winding country roads is the town of Frankton, home to just more than 1,800 residents, about twice the population of Van Buren
